The National Recruitment Federation is now taking applications for the NRF Programme in Recruitment Practice. Unique to the Industry this is the only dedicated Recruitment Practice Programme in Ireland.  Course Format

The course consists of six Modules delivered through three full day workshops, plus an assessment on day-4, the course modules are:

  • The Recruitment Process
  • Candidate Management
  • Client Management
  • Code of Conduct – NRF
  • Legislation
  • Selling & Sales

DAY 1: Recruitment Process, Candidate Management & Client Management

Recruitment Process and Candidate/Client management is a full-day workshop and is trained by Grainne Martin. There is nothing Grainne does not know in these areas and is one of the expert trainers in the recruitment industry. Grainne will also present on the NRF code of Conduct.

 

DAY 2: Legislation

A full day workshop on employment legislation. Trainer for this workshop is Barrister Eoin O Connor.

 

DAY 3: Sales & Selling

This is a very comprehensive full day workshop and delivered by Patrick Meehan who is the owner of Invictus Management and also the author of this module.

 

DAY 4: Assessment

The assessment is two and a half hours from which the student must gain 70% or more to pass. The assessment is based on a maximum of 10 questions per Module other than code of conduct which will have no more than 3 questions. The Legislation module (which attributes to 40% of the marks) is based on a case study that will be presented on the day and additional questions will be asked on same.

EOIN O’CONNOR BL Eoin is a practicing barrister, he was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2008 and the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2013. Eoin also lecturers in Law in Trinity College, Dublin where he is completing his doctorate.

He is the owner and MD of Invictus Management, an organisation dedicated to enhancing both the personal and business life of its clients. Patrick holds an MBA  and a Master Practitioners Licence in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Patrick is passionate about lifelong learning and his main goal in life is to develop positive outcomes in both his business and personal life.

 

 

GRAINNE MARTIN Grainne Martin runs an independent Recruitment Sales Training company

She also works as industry specialist for the NRF in Ireland and as an accredited trainer for APSCo in the UK.

With more than 30 years experience in recruitment, she delivers impressive training and development programmes from corporate clients to small SME’s. Recently GMT acquired Landers world class Leadership Programme offering clients for the first intensive personalised training in this area. She works with Fiona Lander and Thomas International in developing bespoke leadership programmes bases on HPIT assessment and the culture and values of the individual recruitment businesses.

Qualified in HPTI assessment it allows Grainne to help companies in different commercial scenarios to make better informed people decisions. It helps aspiring team leaders and managers to grow into the role and add real value from the start

Grainne has an extensive understanding of the global recruitment sector, with particular expertise in the contracts and interim market and in growing a recruitment from the ground up.t. Grainne has also developed highly successful sales teams and inspired some of the most successful recruiters in the global recruitment sector. She has worked with sales managers and helped performance challenges with innovative and creative solutions. Grainne has advised at board level and has given independent insights to companies and their staffing needs .Her practical advice and understanding of the difficulties sales consultants face has inspired professionals in the sector. Grainne is currently developing her skills as an executive coach.
