The National Recruitment Federation is now taking applications for the NRF Programme in Recruitment Practice. Unique to the Industry this is the only dedicated Recruitment Practice Programme in Ireland. Day 1: 7th November 2017 – Recruitment Process, Candidate Management & Client Management, with Grainne Martin (09:00 – 17:00)

Day 2:  14th November 2017 – Legislation with Eoin O’Connor, BL (09:00 – 17:00)

Day 3:  21st November 2017 – Sales & Selling, with Patrick Meehan (09:00 – 17:00)

Assessment Date:  28th November 2017 (2.5 hours)

 

November 2017 Class (CORK)

 

Day 1: 9th November 2017 – Recruitment Process, Candidate Management & Client Management, with Grainne Martin (09:00 – 17:00)

Day 2:  16th November 2017 – Legislation with Eoin O’Connor, BL (09:00 – 17:00)

Day 3:  23rd November 2017 – Sales & Selling, with Patrick Meehan (09:00 – 17:00)

Assessment Date:  30th November 2017 (2.5 hours)

 

 


 Course Format

The course consists of six Modules delivered through three full day workshops, plus an assessment on day-4, the course modules are:

  • The Recruitment Process
  • Candidate Management
  • Client Management
  • Code of Conduct – NRF
  • Legislation
  • Selling & Sales

DAY 1: Recruitment Process, Candidate Management & Client Management

Recruitment Process and Candidate/Client management is a full-day workshop and is trained by Grainne Martin. There is nothing Grainne does not know in these areas and is one of the expert trainers in the recruitment industry. Grainne will also present on the NRF code of Conduct.

 

DAY 2: Legislation

A full day workshop on employment legislation. Trainer for this workshop is Barrister Eoin O Connor.

 

DAY 3: Sales & Selling

This is a very comprehensive full day workshop and delivered by Patrick Meehan who is the owner of Invictus Management and also the author of this module.

 

DAY 4: Assessment

The assessment is two and a half hours from which the student must gain 70% or more to pass. The assessment is based on a maximum of 10 questions per Module other than code of conduct which will have no more than 3 questions. The Legislation module (which attributes to 40% of the marks) is based on a case study that will be presented on the day and additional questions will be asked on same.

EOIN O’CONNOR BL Eoin is a practicing barrister, he was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2008 and the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2013. Eoin also lecturers in Law in Trinity College, Dublin where he is completing his doctorate.

 

 

 

 

Patrick_Meehan_smallPATRICK MEEHAN Patrick is CEO and Owner, FocalPoint Coaching Ireland, he has developed a career in sales and business management in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sector over the past thirty years. He is the owner and MD of Invictus Management, an organisation dedicated to enhancing both the personal and business life of its clients. Patrick holds an MBA  and a Master Practitioners Licence in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Patrick is passionate about lifelong learning and his main goal in life is to develop positive outcomes in both his business and personal life.

 

 

GRAINNE MARTIN Trainer, coach and advisor to the recruitment industry through her training company Grainne Martin Training. Grainne has worked within the recruitment industry for two decades, graduating from Trinity College Dublin and joining Computer People in London 1986. Following a successful corporate career and understanding how smaller brands fit into a huge organisation as well as having built up several businesses from scratch, Grainne offers a unique advisory and training experience.
