Job Vacancies at the NRF

The National Recruitment Federation  (NRF)is currently recruiting for the following exciting positions: Head of Education, Office Operations Manager and Liaison Officer/Garda Vetting Officer


Head of Education– This is a new and exciting position.  Ideally coming from a background with exposure  to  public  spending  procurement and compliance, the successful person will be responsible  for  the development and management of the National Recruitment Federation Skillsnet. They will also  be a key player in the development of the new Apprenticeship QQI accredited Practitioner in Recruitment Practice as well as the management of the entire NRF education portfolio.  Possessing strong management and leadership skills they should be competent in the reading of accounts and good corporate governance, have the ability to generate reports, be commercially astute, and be target driven and KPI aware, familiar with budget management and have the ability to identify new business opportunities and deliver quality commercial activities to grow the business. Full driving license required.

Operations Office Manager – We are seeking an experienced professional operations office manager to direct and coordinate the organisations operations. This is a new position and the successful person will be responsible for assisting the Chief Executive and supporting the organisation in a variety of administrative functions to include  the NRF Garda Vetting Service. This is a multifaceted role with responsibility for improving performance, productivity, and efficiency in a fast moving environment across a number of divisions.  The successful person will contribute to the achievement of the organisations strategic and operational goals and objectives, have strong leadership and management skills , have the ability to give training as required and will have a knowledge of working with budgets, KPI’s, and targets. Excellent planning and organisations skills are a must alongside the ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects to completion. Some travel overseas may be required for this role. Full driving license required.

Liaison Officer/Garda Vetting Officer – This is an administration role which will include dealing with clients and liaising with the NVB (National Vetting Bureau). The role will involve the generation of reports including KPI’s therefore good letter writing, analytical and numerical skills are required.  The successful candidate will have the ability to multi task, have excellent planning and  time management skills, possess good communication skills both written  and verbal and have the ability to converse at all levels.  Due to the nature of the role high confidentiality internally and externally will be expected. Full driving license required.
